General Information

Golzentipp is the most popular mountain in the area with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain ranges including Hohe Tauern, Schobergruppe, Lienzer Dolomiten, Carnic Alps, Sextner Dolomiten and the valley Pustertal. From the southern side of the valley, you are offered various possibilities to connect to the KHW. Pfannspitze, Großer Kinigat, Porze, Cima Manzon, Gamskofel, Hochspitz und Steinkarspitz are all well known mountain peaks in this area.

If you have not started the KHW from Leckfeldalm then you could do so from Kartitsch by making your ascent to Obstanzersee Hütte.
